Deciding on Colours for an Investment Home

When building an investment ,it is so important to think about keeping the colour scheme fairly neutral.

More than likely, with an investing in property, the goal is to keep the home or unit for a number of years. So the colours that are the craze of the moment , might not be “in”, in a few years time, and might severely date the home.

Think about whites and greys with an accent of colour, or even a timber tone. This will ensure that the future tenants’ furniture and homewares will be easily able to fit in, without any clashing….and will make maintenance for example replacing a cracked tile alot easier.

Some wonderful colour combinations are

*Whites and Beige with a pop of Sage Green

*Greys-light and dark with a hint of timber on the kitchen overhead cupboards and the bathroom vanities

*All white with a grey splashback tile and grey feature wall in the shower
